    The Vietnamese Prime Minister met with representatives of Chinese-funded enterprises such as Gensheng Hosiery (Vietnam)

    On June 12, at the government headquarters of Vietnam, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phook met with representatives of some Chinese enterprises that have invested in Vietnam's textile and apparel, high-grade fibers, engine parts, tires and other fields.

    Mr. Lu Jianjun, general manager of Gensen Hosiery (Vietnam), spoke at the symposium as a representative. Mr. Lu Jianjun first introduced the enterprise situation of Gensen Group, the specific situation of investment in Vietnam in recent years, and emphasized the stable development form of Gensen Hosiery (Vietnam) in Vietnam, as well as the future development plan.

    Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc spoke highly of the contribution made by Gensen Group and other Chinese enterprises to Vietnam's economic development. He said the Vietnamese government will further expand cooperation with foreign enterprises and create a better development environment for foreign enterprises in Vietnam.

    Knowing the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, especially on foreign-funded enterprises, the prime minister, ministries, industries and local leaders increased their meetings with representatives of enterprises and enterprise associations to listen to and resolve the difficulties of enterprises. Especially in the case of foreign workers being blocked from entering and leaving the country, Nguyen Xuan Phuc immediately asked relevant ministries and industries to solve the difficulties for enterprises, including opening air routes as soon as possible and facilitating logistics services. Nguyen Xuan Phook said he was considering reopening flights between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Guangzhou. The Vietnamese government will continue to provide more convenient entry-exit procedures for experts, business managers, investors and skilled workers from other countries.

    Finally, Nguyen Xuan Phuc spoke highly of the epidemic prevention and control measures taken by foreign enterprises in Vietnam and encouraged them to be confident and united to win the epidemic prevention and control battle.

    In May 2015, Jasan Group's first overseas production base -- Haiphong Production Base and Jasan Hosiery (Vietnam) Co., LTD was completed. Haiphong production base covers an area of 10 hectares, with a designed annual production scale of 200 million pairs of cotton socks, 2,500 hosiery knitting machines and supporting facilities.

    In November 2017, the Vietnam Hsing An production base with an annual output of 9000 tons of textile raw materials and accessories, as well as Kinsheng Vietnam Textile Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd. was built in Hsing An Province of Vietnam. Xingan production base covers an area of 9 hectares, producing raw materials for socks such as colored yarn, nylon and spandex, with an annual capacity of 9,000 tons. 110 Santoni looms have been put into production in the first phase of the knitted seamless sportswear project, and the second phase is under construction.

    In 2019, in order to further increase the capacity of the Vietnam base and meet the needs of customers and the market, Kinsen Group laid the foundation for its third production base in Vietnam -- Thanh Hoa Production Base and Kinsen Knitting Co., LTD. Qinghua production base covers an area of 10 hectares, designed to produce 150 million pairs of cotton socks annually, 2000 hosiery knitting machines and supporting facilities.
